This project is shameless guitar centric riff rock. Don't over think it, though I probably did. However, Saving Innocence provides escape from trafficking for child victims of sex trafficking 24 hours a day – 7 days a week. Using a highly relational and collaborative approach, they give children on-the-ground help exclusively in the U.S. by utilizing strategic partnerships with law enforcement, social service providers and schools, while mobilizing communities to prevent abuse and increase neighborhood safety.

In this project we pay tribute to the surf music pioneers as we reinterpret their signature sounds to hopefully inspire a renewed respect for their work and most importantly an appreciation of our dying oceans and the natural world. Surf music and cleaning our oceans just seemed to go together well.
We hope this project can provide you with even a small percentage of the joy it was for us to make. Even on a weighty topic like our polluted dying oceans made during a pandemic in a time of global divisiveness there is just something about this campy corney style and instrumentation that served as a wonderful distraction of levity.

- An estimated 8 million tons of plastic enters our oceans every year.
- 70% of our debris sinks into the ocean's ecosystem, 15% floats, and 15% lands on our beaches.
- In the past 10 years, we’ve made more plastic than the last century. By 2050, the pollution of fish will be outnumbered by our dumped plastics.
- In various studies, plastics made up 60-90% of the marine pollution found. *(Source)

The idea for this project was to take the essence of Christy Moore, Van Morrison, Thin Lizzy, The Chieftains, U2, Donal Lunny, The Clancy Brothers, The Pogues, Horslips, The Dubliners and to throw them all into a musical blender. We tossed in a couple of mash-ups and a classically iconic cover for good measure.
If you listen to the narratives and themes of Irish folk music you’ll hear that most of it revolves around the heartache and struggles—and the causes—of oppression, displacement, and immigration. While the sound of the music and particular turn of phrase of the lyrics may be uniquely Irish, the circumstances are, unfortunately, increasingly universal. These are the songs and stories of Irish immigrants and refugees.
The world is now facing unprecedented refugee migration challenges. Irish Americans owe it to the newly-arriving generations to respond like we are receiving our own ancestors.

File under “Children’s music” if you must but “Kitchy Classics” is a delightfully entertaining game of hopscotch through America’s, and in fact the world's pop music traditions, playfully mocking and celebrating icons and genres in rapid succession. Sprinkled with humor to span the generations. Kitchy Classics has something for everyone trapped in the car.
The Jamboree is not actually a band, not even in the made for television sense. The music is real enough, hand crafted to entertain preschoolers and their families. The reference to Jamboree (a noisy gathering, a boisterous celebration) is actually meant to represent you, hopefully coming together with me to support the needs in our communities. But the main reason for the name is all the good ones were already taken.
